PipeDart Replacement Cobra Rod

Genuine replacement fibreglass rod for PipeDart Cobra and duct rodding systems. Available in a range of rod diameters and lengths to replace worn or damaged rod without replacing the complete Cobra frame.

PipeDart replacement rods are designed for professional cable installation, duct rodding and underground access applications. Simply select the rod diameter and length required for your existing PipeDart system.

Available Rod Diameters

• 4.5mm – compact, flexible rod for smaller ducts and shorter runs
• 6mm – flexible general-purpose Cobra rod
• 9mm – medium-duty rod for longer duct runs
• 11mm – heavy-duty rod for larger ducts and longer distances
• 14mm – heavy-duty rod for long-distance cable and duct installation

End Connections

• 4.5mm and 6mm rods are fitted with male M5 brass end fittings
• 9mm, 11mm and 14mm rods are fitted with male M12 brass end fittings

Replacement Rod Installation

4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm and 11mm replacement rods are supplied as replacement rod packs for installation onto the existing PipeDart frame. As the rod is supplied under tension, installation should be carried out outdoors and with appropriate care.

Rausch UK can also fit the replacement rod to your existing frame if required. Please contact us before ordering if you would like us to arrange fitting.

14mm replacement rods are supplied in a steel cage designed to fit directly onto the PipeDart A-frame.
