Need True 3D Measurement?

Consider Realta 3D

If the inspection requires accurate dimensional measurement of distance, depth, area or surface profile rather than visual assessment and relative measurement alone, Realta 3D is the more appropriate platform.

Yateks P Series FAQs

Key information about image quality, probe options, articulation, recording and measurement capability.

What is the Yateks P Series used for?

The P Series is designed for detailed remote visual inspection inside components, machinery and other difficult-to-access areas.

Typical applications include aerospace and MRO, automotive, power generation, manufacturing and industrial maintenance.

What probe diameters are available for the P Series?

Yateks lists P Series probe options from 1.1 mm through to 8.4 mm in diameter.

The appropriate probe depends on the access available, required inspection length, viewing direction, image requirement and component geometry.

Does the P Series have an articulating camera?

Yes. The P Series uses electronically controlled 360° camera articulation operated through the control rocker.

Fine adjustment and positioning functions help the operator direct the camera toward specific internal surfaces and features.

Can the P Series record inspections?

Yes. The P Series can capture still images and record inspection video for review and documentation.

Images are stored in JPEG or JPG format and video is recorded in AVI format.

Can the P Series measure defects?

The high-resolution P Series includes a relative measurement function to assist with identifying and evaluating inspection areas.

If your application requires advanced dimensional measurement of distance, depth, area or 3D surface profile, the Realta 3D is the more appropriate measurement platform.

What is the difference between the P Series and Realta 3D?

The P Series is primarily a high-resolution visual inspection platform, combining a large 8-inch display, powered articulation, modular probes and relative measurement capability.

Realta 3D is designed where advanced dimensional measurement is required, including point-to-point distance, depth, area and 3D surface-profile analysis.
