What is the Rausch HD Telescopic Search Camera used for?
The Rausch HD Telescopic Search Camera is designed for visual inspection at height, around obstacles and into difficult-to-reach areas where the operator cannot easily inspect directly.
Typical applications include police, security, prisons, customs, military and specialist search work.
Can the telescopic camera be used in darkness?
Yes. The camera is designed for both daylight and low-light inspection. It provides colour viewing in normal light and incorporates 940 nm infrared illumination for use in dark environments.
White LED illumination is also built into the camera head.
How far does the telescopic pole extend?
The HD Telescopic Search Camera is available with either a 2.5 metre or 4 metre extended pole option.
This allows the operator to inspect elevated, concealed or restricted-access areas while remaining at a safer or more convenient working position.
Can the HD Telescopic Search Camera record inspections?
Yes. The system can record Full HD video and capture still images through the portable monitor and DVR.
Video is recorded in MPEG format, still images are captured as JPEG files, and recordings can be stored internally or on USB storage.
What resolution is the camera?
The 50 mm camera head has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and uses a CMOS image sensor.
The system also has a sensitivity of 0.01 lux to support inspection in low-light environments.
