Sewer Inspection Software & Measurement Solutions

Turn CCTV inspections into structured reports, mapped pipeline data and measurable condition information.

Rausch software and measurement technology extends CCTV inspection beyond simply recording video. PipeCommander supports inspection recording, project management and reporting, LATRAS maps the route of lateral connections, and deformation measurement provides dimensional analysis of pipe condition across complete sewer reaches.

What Do You Need from Your Inspection Data?

The right solution depends on whether you need to manage the CCTV inspection itself, understand where a lateral connection runs or quantify deformation within the pipe.

Record & Report

Choose PipeCommander

For recording inspection information, managing CCTV projects, reviewing video and images, producing reports and handling inspection data between vehicle and office.

Locate & Map

Choose LATRAS

When you need more than the position of a lateral opening and want to record the actual route, direction and depth of a connection during CCTV inspection.

Measure Condition

Choose Deformation Measurement

When the inspection needs to quantify pipe diameter, deviations and deformation rather than relying on visual CCTV assessment alone.

Sewer Inspection Software & Measurement FAQs

Common questions about inspection reporting, lateral mapping and dimensional pipe measurement.

What software is used with Rausch sewer inspection systems?

PipeCommander is Rausch's inspection and data-management software for recording inspections, handling project information, reviewing video and images and producing inspection reports.

Vehicle and office workflows can be used together so inspection information can continue to be managed after the survey is complete.

What is the difference between PipeCommander and LATRAS?

PipeCommander manages the CCTV inspection data and reporting workflow.

LATRAS is a specialist tracking system that records the route of lateral connections during inspection, adding direction, distance and coordinate information that can be represented graphically.

What does LATRAS measure?

LATRAS records movement direction, inclination and distance while the lateral is inspected and continuously derives XYZ coordinate information for the route.

This allows the course of the connection to be recorded and represented within mapping software.

What is sewer pipe deformation measurement?

Deformation measurement is used to quantify changes in the internal shape and diameter of a pipe rather than relying only on a visual CCTV assessment.

The Rausch KS 135 Scan system measures the pipe profile along the complete survey length and can produce 2D and 3D visualisations of the measured condition.

Can deformation measurement be carried out during CCTV inspection?

Yes. The KS 135 Scan system combines CCTV inspection with deformation measurement.

During the measurement run, the rotating laser and crawler movement allow the software to calculate pipe diameter and deviations along the pipe reach.

Which Rausch software or measurement solution do I need?

Choose PipeCommander when the priority is inspection recording, project management and reporting. Choose LATRAS when you need to record and map the route of lateral connections.

Choose deformation measurement when you need dimensional evidence of pipe diameter and profile changes across the sewer reach. Rausch UK can help determine which functions should form part of your inspection workflow.
