Rather than being limited to a single probe configuration, the Q Series can be specified with compatible insertion tubes selected around the component and inspection task.
Probe diameters range from 0.85 mm to 6 mm, with options including forward-view, side-view, dual-camera and UV configurations.
This allows one videoscope platform to support a wider variety of inspection requirements.

What is the Yateks Q Series used for?
The Yateks Q Series is an industrial videoscope platform designed for visual inspection inside components, machinery, cavities and other areas that cannot easily be viewed directly.
It is particularly useful where inspection through an existing access point can reduce the need for unnecessary disassembly.
What probe diameters are available for the Q Series?
Q Series probe options range from 0.85 mm up to 6 mm in diameter.
The available configuration depends on the required probe diameter, working length, resolution, viewing direction and illumination type.
Can I use different probes with the same Q Series base unit?
Yes. The Q Series uses a replaceable insertion-tube design, allowing compatible probe configurations to be selected around different inspection requirements.
This can include different probe diameters, forward-view, side-view, dual-camera and specialist UV configurations.
Does the Q Series have an articulating camera?
Articulating probe options are available across much of the Q Series range. The camera tip is controlled using a joystick to provide precise movement while navigating internal areas.
Some of the smallest probe configurations are fixed rather than articulating, so the appropriate probe should be selected according to the access and inspection requirement.
Can the Q Series record inspection images and video?
Yes. The Q Series can capture photographs and record video as part of the inspection process.
Supported photo formats include BMP, PNG and JPG, while video can be recorded in AVI and MP4 formats. Images can also be annotated with text, arrows and comments.
What is the difference between the Q Series and Realta 3D?
The Q Series is primarily a configurable visual-inspection platform, offering a wide choice of probe diameters, viewing directions and specialist camera configurations.
The Realta 3D is intended where inspection also requires advanced dimensional measurement, including point-to-point distance, depth, area and 3D surface profiling.
