Built for Detailed Industrial Inspection

A configurable videoscope platform designed to adapt to different access, imaging and inspection requirements.

1

High-Definition Imaging

High-resolution digital imaging with a 5.5-inch HD OLED display helps operators identify fine surface details during inspection.

2

360° Camera Control

Joystick-controlled articulation provides precise camera-tip positioning when navigating internal components and confined spaces.

3

Interchangeable Probes

Configure one base unit with different compatible insertion tubes, probe diameters and camera arrangements around the inspection task.

4

Record & Document

Capture photographs and video, annotate images and use 2D comparison measurement to support inspection documentation.

One Platform. Multiple Inspection Configurations.

The Q Series uses a modular, replaceable insertion-tube design, allowing the system to be configured around different access, imaging and inspection requirements.

Modular Q Series

Configure the System Around the Inspection

Rather than being limited to a single probe configuration, the Q Series can be specified with compatible insertion tubes selected around the component and inspection task.

Probe diameters range from 0.85 mm to 6 mm, with options including forward-view, side-view, dual-camera and UV configurations.

This allows one videoscope platform to support a wider variety of inspection requirements.

Micro Access

0.85 mm to 2.8 mm

Compact probes for inspection through very small openings and into restricted internal areas.

General Inspection

4 mm & 6 mm

Larger probe configurations provide additional imaging and illumination options for general industrial inspection.

Multiple Views

Dual-Camera Options

Forward and side viewing can be combined within selected dual-camera probe configurations.

Specialist Inspection

UV & Side View

Specialist probe options are available for UV inspection and applications requiring dedicated side viewing.

Which configuration do you need?
The right probe depends on access diameter, working length, viewing direction, depth of field and the defect or feature being inspected. Rausch UK can help specify the appropriate Q Series configuration.

Typical Q Series Applications

The Q Series is suited to non-destructive visual inspection where internal areas cannot be assessed directly without disassembly.

Aerospace

Engines & Internal Components

Inspect restricted internal areas, component surfaces and features through existing access points.

Automotive

Mechanical Inspection

Visual assessment of engines, castings, assemblies and internal mechanical areas without unnecessary dismantling.

Engineering

Manufacturing & Quality Control

Inspect inaccessible surfaces, cavities, weld areas and manufactured components during production or maintenance.

Maintenance

Plant & Equipment Inspection

Examine internal machinery and process equipment where visual access is limited and disassembly would add time or cost.

Is the Q Series Right for Your Inspection?

The Q Series is designed where flexible visual inspection and a wide choice of probe configurations are more important than advanced 3D dimensional measurement.

Choose Q Series

For Configurable Visual Inspection

Choose the Q Series where you need high-definition visual inspection with a broad choice of probe diameters, lengths, viewing directions and specialist camera options.

Yateks Q Series FAQs

Key information about probe options, articulation, recording and choosing the right Q Series configuration.

What is the Yateks Q Series used for?

The Yateks Q Series is an industrial videoscope platform designed for visual inspection inside components, machinery, cavities and other areas that cannot easily be viewed directly.

It is particularly useful where inspection through an existing access point can reduce the need for unnecessary disassembly.

What probe diameters are available for the Q Series?

Q Series probe options range from 0.85 mm up to 6 mm in diameter.

The available configuration depends on the required probe diameter, working length, resolution, viewing direction and illumination type.

Can I use different probes with the same Q Series base unit?

Yes. The Q Series uses a replaceable insertion-tube design, allowing compatible probe configurations to be selected around different inspection requirements.

This can include different probe diameters, forward-view, side-view, dual-camera and specialist UV configurations.

Does the Q Series have an articulating camera?

Articulating probe options are available across much of the Q Series range. The camera tip is controlled using a joystick to provide precise movement while navigating internal areas.

Some of the smallest probe configurations are fixed rather than articulating, so the appropriate probe should be selected according to the access and inspection requirement.

Can the Q Series record inspection images and video?

Yes. The Q Series can capture photographs and record video as part of the inspection process.

Supported photo formats include BMP, PNG and JPG, while video can be recorded in AVI and MP4 formats. Images can also be annotated with text, arrows and comments.

What is the difference between the Q Series and Realta 3D?

The Q Series is primarily a configurable visual-inspection platform, offering a wide choice of probe diameters, viewing directions and specialist camera configurations.

The Realta 3D is intended where inspection also requires advanced dimensional measurement, including point-to-point distance, depth, area and 3D surface profiling.
