For a complete CCTV vehicle, start with the contracts the van needs to deliver. Payload, cable reach, mainline and lateral capability, reporting workflow, operator layout and the service route will normally have more commercial impact than the total number of optional components available. A 3.5-tonne maximum authorised mass is not a unique advantage: check the real remaining payload with the specified reel, crawler, satellite kit, crew and other working equipment on board.
