PipeDart Flexitrace PipeTracer – 4.5 mm, 6 mm & 9 mm

Traceable fibreglass PipeDart rod for locating non-metallic pipes, drains, ducts and conduits. Flexitrace can be energised with a compatible 33 kHz signal generator so the route of the inserted rod can be followed from above ground; it can also be used in end-sonde mode to pinpoint the rod tip.

Choose the right rod diameter

• 4.5 mm: lightest and most flexible option for smaller pipes, ducts and tighter access; available from 30–100 m.
• 6 mm: general-purpose option with increased pushing ability while retaining good flexibility; available from 30–150 m.
• 9 mm: heavier-duty rod for larger ducts and longer runs where more pushing strength is required; available from 50–200 m.

How it works

Insert the Flexitrace rod into the pipe or duct and connect a compatible signal generator. A locator can then follow the transmitted 33 kHz signal from above ground to establish the route. When required, the signal can be concentrated at the rod end to identify a specific underground position.
